RSD is a health research institution created in 2006 with the ambition of generating scientific evidence specific to the African context to influence health policies and sustainably improve the health, care, and well-being of populations. Our work focuses on three major areas: research, public health interventions, capacity building, and knowledge dissemination. Our activities are centered on, but not limited to:
The Prevention and Management of chronic Non-Communicable Diseases ; notably Diabetes and Cervical cancer
Maternal, Child and Adolescent health with a specific focus on Nutrition and the first 1000 days
Health policy and translational research. We place particular emphasis on good ethical practices and good governance
